For the past twenty plus years I've enjoyed catching the mighty small mouth bass and in this article I'm going to reveal some tips that have helped me catch a lot of fish. Before you run out and purchase all kinds of expensive fishing equipment, ask yourself why you want to take up the noble art of fishing.
I personally like to use ultra light rods and reels, spooled with four-pound test monofilament. There is very little that bass and trout have in common, other than the fact that both are fish. You can use electronic devices to detect structures that are obstructing your vision and matching the structures up with good cover like fallen trees or submerged plants.
You need to fool the fish into believing that your bait real. Whether you catch many fish or just a couple, just enjoy the peace and quiet. Always try to stop by check out some information or just stock up on your fishing gear.
I personally use a six foot six inch ultra light rod to fish in high water, whereas in normal water conditions I use a five foot rod. Now go and have a great day in nature.
